A panel of experts conducted a recent Medicare Literacy survey totaling over 1,000 Medicare beneficiaries and revealed that 3 out of 4 call Medicare "confusing and difficult to understand" when they were turning 65 and trying to sign up correctly
Here's why that might matter to you...
If you'll be 65 in the next 6 months, you need to start taking responsibility for some decisions about signing up for Medicare in Buffalo NY.
Decisions that deserve special attention (Maybe more attention than you think to give it.)
Think about if this sounds familiar...
...you come from work after a stress-filled, busy, hectic, tough, tiring, energy-sapping battle every day, only to check your mail and find another armful of useless Medicare information to bring inside and pile on your kitchen table?
It can be information overload, right?
Typically, all the mass-mail Medicare marketing usually comes from two sources...or both...
What you need to be aware of is this...
...these two sources rarely, if ever, provide you with the information that actually helps to answer the questions you have about your Medicare benefits!
You see, the Government and the Insurance companies only send you information that supports THEIR goals, which are drastically difference than YOUR goals.
The Government's goal is to let you know you are eligible to sign up for your entitled Medicare Benefits --- but they don't really explain what your benefits are or how to go about activating them.
Meanwhile, the Insurance Companies' goal is to sell you a plan from their portfolio so they can make money.
But, your goal is to actually understand WHAT Medicare benefits you will and can receive, IF it makes sense to apply for your Medicare Benefits and when to do, and most importantly HOW to apply correctly, on time and without errors.
So, you must seek out clear, correct, complete and credible advice that gives you all the facts and all your options without bias, incentive or conflict of interest.
And that is certainly no the type of advice the Federal Government or the Insurance Companies are going to give you.
It might be nice is someone just started by saying something like...
"All this stuff about Medicare in Buffalo, NY can be overwhelming and confusing. We get it. We help people, just like you, with Medicare in Erie County every day, all year long. We understand you want to be confident that you don't mess it up, and we can help you make your move to Medicare easier and simpler, which is what you want and deserve!"
